This is now an archive, as our band, as it was, is no longer together.

Middle Age Crazy ... The Band began with the collaboration of two childhood friends:
Barney Hartley and Dave Miller who, having played music together since the age of fourteen, went into the studio in 2000 to record some original music they had developed over the years. This evolved into, first, impromptu jam sessions at annual parties, then a request from friends to play at their wedding.

A group was assembled in 2003 for what turned out to be a crude, but well received performance. More requests were brokered... and the band continued on for about two years in one incarnation or another, playing for weddings, birthday parties, and social events.

Eventually, the strain of trying to maintain practice and performance schedules, juggling our busy home lives and creative differences took their toll. Rather than attempt more radical personnel changes... we quietly "disbanded".

Though often emotionally and logistically difficult, it was a wonderful experience performing and being paid to do so. I, for one, am grateful to all who made it possible... Band members... our audience, who cheered us on... Those who hired us, and gave us a chance to play... and our families who supported us. Thanks to all of you.
